June 10 – Annual General Meeting

Thanks to the efforts of Susan Pratt and Rosalyn Gonsalves, we were able to hold our annual general meeting at The Shed and enjoy the comfortable surroundings and a buffet-style lunch.

President Garry Sleep, lead the last official meeting of his six year tenure as club president. Under Garry’s leadership and with the invaluable help of Past President Vern Cunningham and a very capable executive, as well as the dedicated efforts of our Book Club, Bridge, Euchre, Nine & Dine group leaders, we have seen our club grow and flourish to become the vibrant club it is today. Volunteers all, we thank you.

This year’s elections were headed up by Past President, Vern Cunningham and while there was no competition for executive positions we do have, by unanimous proclamation, a strong executive to see us through the next couple of years.

Sylvia Wolff takes on the President’s position and continues as Newsletter Editor. Garry Sleep becomes Past President. Anna Pilato assumes the VP Membership chair. Wayne Scott fills the newly created, Marketing Director chair. Dave Brisley will act as adviser to Programme Director, Leo Ralph.  Marie Walsh, Judy Dickens, Susan Pratt and Tim Hill continue on in their current positions.

Our June AGM marks the end of our fiscal year so, let’s enjoy the pictures below and think of our friends until we reconvene in September. Be safe, enjoy your summer and we’ll see you in September
