Calling all Probus Club Theatre Lovers!

AuroraYorkCentral Probus Club’s “Theatre Lovers’ interest group has a wonderful season of theatre productions scheduled for the 2025-26 Season, tickets are $25.00.  So mark your calendar!

Four productions at Theatre Aurora that we’ll be attending include:
Over the River and Through the Woods, Saturday, November 14 at 1:30 pm…..a story about food, family and guilt.

My Fair Lady, Saturday, January 23 at 1:30 pm…..a timeless musical transformation of a flower girl to a lady…..by Lerner and Loewe.

Holmes and Poirot, Saturday, March 6 at 1:30 pm…..two legendary detectives and double the mystery!

Self Help, Saturday, May 1st at 1:30 pm…..a hilarious Norm Foster farce about fake self-help gurus and the body they can’t get rid of!

Thank you to the three theatre lovers who joined me at the Curtain Club of Richmond Hill on Sunday afternoon September 20th for a delightful and crazy comedy featuring a ‘tilted’ set that made us all wondering if we had eye troubles! Dinner at Symposium Cafe on Bayview added a fun day.

The next theatre outing will be back to a Saturday matinee on November 14 at 1:30. About seven tickets are still available so any Probus members who want to join the group can do so by sending me $25 by e-transfer

Thanks…
