Calling all Probus Club Theatre Lovers!
The second season of enjoyable local theatre is underway for the members of the Probus Theatre Lovers group. Fifteen to 20 members regularly attend matinee performances at Theatre Aurora, followed by food, friendship and conversation at local restaurants.
Just before Christmas members attended the hilarious and interactive Christmas Pantomime, “Totally Scrooged”.
On Saturday, January 31st, the ever popular comedy of manners, “The Importance of Being Earnest” is on the play bill.
Our March 21st outing is to Theatre Aurora to see “Where You Are” by Kristen Da Silva, a hilarious and honest exploration of family, forgiveness and falling in love.
Please note: Susan Pratt has kindly stepped in to cover my absence for this production. To Book your tickets and arrange for payment by e-transfer, please use the contact form in the sidebar.
Rounding out the Theatre Aurora season will be “Arsenic and Old Lace” by Joseph Kesselring. All Probus members are invited to join in the fun on Saturday, May 9 at 1:30 pm. Tickets will be available for $21 each at the March and April general meetings or for purchase by e-transfer to Judy Dickens.

Thanks so much for your support! Keep your eye on updated information on both the Aurora York Central PROBUS website and in the monthly newsletter.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. I look forward to another fun Probus activity for all you theatre lovers in the Club.
Thank you, Judy Dickens
Great food and lots of conversation at Symposium Cafe after members of the Theatre Lovers group enjoyed the delightful performance of Theatre Aurora’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” on Saturday afternoon, January 31.
We’d love to have you join our theatre group.
