Peter Jennings — Artificial Intelligence – Thinking Machines

What is Artificial Intelligence? The history of artificial intelligence and the latest breakthroughs of 2025. Peter has been an AI user and programmer since 1968 and created the first commercial chess playing program and the first hand held chess playing computer. Should we be afraid of AI? How can you use it? What is Generative AI? What could go wrong?

Peter Jennings

Peter was born in Britain and after visiting 130 countries and living in many, became a Canadian citizen a year ago. He has been working with computers for 60 years and is best known for creating the first commercial computer game, Microchess.  

The last company of many he founded, CamDo Solutions, applies artificial intelligence to construction safety, agriculture and monitoring applications using solar powered cameras.

He is now the webmaster for PROBUS Global.
