Cynthia’s Chinese Restaurant is a family-friendly restaurant that serves those who love and appreciate good-quality Chinese cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. We have been serving the Newmarket area since 1993-this is when we opened our first restaurant. Our second restaurant was opened in 1998 in Thornhill followed by our Oakville location in 2009.
When you visit Cynthia’s Chinese Restaurant, it will seem like the time when emperors of the famed Forbidden City would hold great banquets. Our decor is almost like the silken splendour of the Imperial courts where we have recreated the luxury and taste of the most celebrated age of China. From the moment you walk into our restaurant, you are greeted at the door by our staff dressed in traditional, imperial robes. You will enjoy the magnificence of ancient China through your entire meal of authentic, mouth-watering cuisine.

We are happy to have many sign up for our dining out venues. However, we are aware that last minute instances arise that may prevent you from attending. In that event, it would be appreciated if you would use the contact form below to let Susan Pratt our Social Director know you will not be there. It is in fairness to the restaurant management, that we provide them with attendee numbers a week ahead in order for them to arrange adequate staffing and seating. There is also the possibility that the restauranteur may have had to turn away guests to assure sufficient seating for our group.
