November 19 – Dining Out At Moxies
What a wonderful evening of good food and good friends. As is usual at these outings, there was plenty of chatter, good humour and laughter.

November 12 – Peter Jennings – Artificial Intelligence – Thinking Machines
Peter addressed one of our largest turnouts, giving us an easy to understand introduction to AI. Talking about it’s positives and negatives and how it may potentially change our way of life, in business, the medical field and everyday societal interactions.
Peter held his audience’s attention by making what can be for many a complex and poorly understood technology, much less formidable through his slides, layman terminology and interesting anecdotes. Following Q&A, Peter joined us for our after meeting lunch at Symposium.
Best known for creating the first commercial computer game, Microchess, this quest for a machine to mimic human thought and action informed his talk.

PROBUS Canada representative, Chuck Heroux, Ontario District #2 visited us to congratulate our club on our anniversary and present President Garry Sleep, with a 30 Year Anniversary Certificate.
Past President Vern Cunnigham distributed a commemorative 30th Anniversary cookie, arranged by our Social Director Susan Pratt.
November 25, thirty years ago, The Probus Club of Aurora was created.
