2025 HAPPENINGS – MARCH
March 19 – Dining Out At Hanson’s
Hanson’s prepared a special room to seat all twenty one of us where we enjoyed delicious Chinese dishes or equally tasty pizza. The room was filled with boisterous chatter before the food arrived, quiet broken only by faint clinking of our knives and forks and plenty of laughter after dinner as we mingled and chatted with our friends.
All in all a wonderful way to spend a Wednesday evening.
March 12 – Angie Sandow
Accomplished musician. inspirational speaker and founder of JUSTRIDIN shared her story of being born with various birth defects, the most noticeable of which is the limb difference to her right arm and hand, Angie was often seen as “different”.
She told of the mocking and bullying she has received and how she dealt with it. Angie talked of the life challenges she faced like finding employment, riding a motorcycle, being diagnosed with breast cancer and how she coped with each.
March 12 – 50/50 Draw
Speaker Angie Sandow draws the winning ticket and Marie Wallace presents new member Rod Adams with his share of the pot. Congratulations Rod!
