Up For A Fun Car Rally?
What is a car rally?
The proposed spring car rally is a fun social event that invites groups of four people per car to follow a set route with stops and starts ending at a restaurant for a meal and a social time.
In each car there would be:
a) a driver
b) a navigator
c and d) two helpers who observe and record answers to questions posed along the rally route.
The foursome could be a team of people who register together or a mix of singles/couples who sign up and are assigned to a car by the organizers, which is a great way to meet new people!
Each team chooses a fun (but not rude) name, decides who will do each task and is set off at five minute intervals by the organizers.
What is a car rally NOT?
It’s not a race, it’s not 100 kms, and it’s not complicated (so you don’t have to worry about getting lost!)
There would be fun prizes awarded to various ‘accomplishments’ that are known only to the organizers!
